Wedding RSVP cards

Filed under: Wedding RSVP Cards — Diane @ 9:00 am

There are many mysteries when it comes to planning a wedding. There are so many things that people are unsure of. But, as with most things, there is no right or wrong. But there is some wedding planning etiquette to follow.

Wedding RSVP cards are always tricky. It is difficult to know how to word them and the correct way of setting them out. Usually, the card will be worded along the lines of: ‘The favour of a reply is requested by (insert date). (Insert guest’s name) Accepts with pleasure/Declines with regrets.

But you can alter this wording depending on your theme or the general style of your wedding. It can be made more causal if your ceremony is going to be a casual affair.

It is a good idea to leave a blank space somewhere on the wedding RSVP cards so that your guests can write you a little note if they wish to. It is also a good tip to ask on the RSVP card, how many people from their party will be attending. This will help you later on with the wedding table plan.

To make it easier for your guests to send the wedding RSVP cards back, it is a good idea to include an addressed, stamped envelope with the card.
