The importance of wedding place cards

Filed under: Wedding Place Cards — Diane @ 9:00 am

There is always a little bit of a question surrounding wedding place cards. Some people prefer to organise exactly where all their guests are sitting and use place cards as an indicator whereas other people think that letting their guests choose their own seat is preferable.

In reality, this is all down to personal choice. But if there are certain people who need to be seated together (or apart) or if you would prefer some of your guests to be sat closer to you, then wedding place cards may be necessary.

Wedding place cards not only let your guests know where they will be sitting, but they give you the reassurance that everyone does have somewhere to sit and the reception should run a bit more smoothly if this is the case.

Aside from this, wedding place cards are a good souvenir from your wedding. Each guest can keep their place card as a little memento from the day.

Another case in which wedding place cards are useful, is if you have different meal options. With place cards, the waiters will know which meal goes to which guest on each table.
