Sending out your christening invitations

Filed under: Christening Invitations Articles — Dave @ 9:00 am

Christening your child is a really special occasion and one that should be shared by family and friends.

Christenings are undertaken when the parents are keen that their child will be brought up as a Christian. It is normally expected that after the christening, you and your family will be regular attendants at church.

So once you have decided that you want to christen your child, you should think about sending out your christening invitations. Much like wedding invites, these christening invitations should be sent out as early as possible, to ensure that all your guests can attend.

For example, if you have friends or family overseas who you would like to attend your child’s special day, then you need to ensure that they have time to arrange transport and accommodation.

Before you can do this though, you will need to talk to your local vicar to find out whether you have to arrange a special service or whether the christening will be part of the Sunday service.

Once you have all the details of the service, it is time to send out your christening invitations. Christening invites are available in a huge range of designs to suit any theme or tone of christening you would like. You can even find invites designed for twin babies.
