Preparing your wedding table plan

Filed under: Wedding Table Plan — Diane @ 9:00 am

Not every couple decides to do a seating plan but for those who do, the wedding table plan can be quite a stressful thing to organise.

The idea of doing a wedding table plan is to try and mingle the two families but at the same time, to seat people with guests who they are already familiar with. This is a difficult balance to strike and this is why so many couples have trouble trying to get their wedding table plan absolutely perfect.

It is easier to begin by organising the top table as this consists of the bride and groom and the leading members of the wedding party. Some couples prefer not to formalise the seating arrangement at the top table but it may put your mind at rest to do so.

With your wedding table plan, it is up to you whether you decide upon the exact seats that your guests will sit at or whether you simply tell them which table they are sitting at.

By having a definite wedding table plan, you will ensure that people are seated quickly and that the day is not delayed by people trying to decide where they should go.

You can choose a wedding table plan design which matches the theme of your wedding and display it at the front of the room for people to check as they enter.
