Planning a wedding

Filed under: Wedding Help & Advice — Jenny @ 9:15 am

Time seems to pass by in a flash when you are planning a wedding. No sooner have you got that ring on your finger than you are up to your neck in wedding invitations, caterers and wedding dresses.
But the planning of a wedding should not be a stressful time, it should be an exciting build up to the happiest day of your life.

The secret is to begin the preparations early, particularly if you are planning on a lavish day. Perhaps begin by making up a scrapbook of ideas. Every time you spot a nice hairstyle or wedding dress design in a magazine, then rip it out and stick it in the book. Soon, you will have built up a good idea of the style of wedding you would like.

Make contact with caterers and photographers as early as possible so that you have time to discuss your ideas with them.

Once the larger tasks are out of the way, make sure you pay attention to the smaller issues such as arranging a wedding guestbook and perhaps some disposable wedding cameras for your guests.

The most important thing to remember when planning a wedding, is to enjoy the preparations and make the most of your build up to the big day!
