Organise your day with a wedding order of service

Filed under: Wedding Order of Service — Diane @ 9:00 am

When your wedding day finally arrives, you don’t want your guests to be wandering about, not sure of where they are meant to be. This can make the entire atmosphere of the day a little tense and could make it seem a little disorganised.

This is why so many couples decide that they should complete a wedding order of service as this can really help you to get the day in order in your own minds and also give the guests a little bit of guidance as to how the day with run.

A wedding order of service will normally list the order of the wedding ceremony itself. Sometimes the wedding order of service will be extremely detailed, telling the guests each prayer, hymn and reading that will take place during the ceremony. Sometimes the wedding order of service will be less detailed but will still guide guests through the main parts of the ceremony.

The key information to include in the wedding order of service is to tell guests where they should go immediately after the ceremony. That way, your Gran won’t wander off somewhere just as the photographer arrives to take the family photos.
