Have you thought of Purple Invitations?
When I think of purple, I think of walking through an enchanted forest. Imagine the scene, it’s a spring morning, the air is crisp and there’s dew slowly evaporating from the fresh leaves.
The ground is filled with foxgloves and bluebells, the sunlight catches the glare of the purple petals giving it a glow like a purple bulb and the beautiful contrast of light violet mixed with rich deep shades make the whole meadow glow.
I sometimes imagine having a wedding in which the whole of my outdoor isle is lined with beautiful foxgloves and bluebells.
Purple also featured a lot in last year’s fashion trend of block colouring, where we were seeing more and more purple on the catwalks and in the shops, teeming bright colours together for a bold, confident look.
It was a big talking point on American XFactor when Nicole Scherzinger appeared in the same coloured outfit as Cheryl Cole had weeks before. She wore purple flared trousers and an orange top. As you can imagine this is not the usual combination but somehow it worked for both women. This trend has now followed on to the high street, with lots of people daring to be a bit bolder with their fashion choices, and even if choosing not to go for a full outfit, opting for accessories in purple.
There is a bar/restaurant I that I like to go to, where the whole décor is purple. It features textured wallpaper to the soft furnishings in bright purple. The furniture is covered in velvety shades and makes me feel warm inside. The colour scheme gives it a really opulent, decadent feel.
Wherever you take your inspiration from, purple can give a beautiful feel to a wedding. Have a look through the range of purple wedding invitations and you will see 14 available options.
