A Tip for writing Wedding Invitations

Filed under: Wedding Invitations, Wedding Invitations Articles — Dave @ 2:49 pm

When it comes to your wedding stationery, writing your wedding invitations can be quite a daunting prospect.  Even though you probably think that’s the least of your worries in the lead up to your big day, it actually plays a very significant part in your wedding planning.

The invitation is something that all of your potential guests are going to read, and as such you want it to come across in just the right light.  The wording within your wedding invitation should be formal, but don’t afraid to include a personal message from you and your partner.  Remember though, if you are planning on inviting all of your friends and family, you are likely to have a very long list of names to get through, so writing a unique message to each individual is probably going to be quite time consuming.  As an alternative, try to come up with a message that is personal but can be applied generally to everyone you are sending wedding invitations out to – this way, you can have the message included on your invites at the printers.  That will save you both hours, and writer’s cramp!
