Why save the date cards are so important

Filed under: Wedding Invitations Articles — Diane @ 9:00 am

Save the date cards are sometimes overlooked by couples planning their wedding, but they are incredibly important and have the power to really make a difference to your wedding day.

Save the date cards are normally sent out at an early stage in the wedding planning process; the purpose of them is to let guests know to put your wedding in their diaries.

And this is how they can make such a difference to your day. Because if people know the date early enough, they will know not to make plans for that date, but if they are not told at an early enough stage, they could book a holiday or another engagement for the same day; meaning that you will have loved ones missing your special occasion.

Sending out save the date cards means that you are reserving your guests and also means that you can relax into the wedding planning, knowing that most people will be able to come.

Using save the date cards, you should be able to get an idea of numbers at a very early stage and this can help you with the rest of the planning.

This is why save the date cards are so important and can make such a difference to your day.

Wedding RSVP cards can complete your wedding invites

Filed under: Wedding RSVP Cards — Diane @ 9:00 am

Everyone knows it is vital to send out wedding invites if you want people to turn up on your special day. But we mustn’t forget the importance of wedding RSVP cards too as these can make the planning of your wedding day a lot easier.

Wedding RSVP cards allow your guests to respond to the wedding invite and let you know whether or not they will be attending.

These days a lot of people decide to rely on their guests emailing them to let them know they will be attending, but the benefits of sending RSVP cards really outweigh this method.

Firstly, if you simply ask for an email response, you are relying on people to remember to do this. However, with RSVP cards, you are providing your guests with an easy way to respond to you. The cards will remind them to respond and will make it easier for them to do so.

As well as this, wedding RSVP cards really add elegance and formality to the occasion. If you are opting for a traditional wedding, then this is vital.

So don’t rely on email responses; keep it all official with reliable wedding RSVP cards.

The importance of wedding table plans

Filed under: Wedding Table Plan — Jenny @ 9:00 am

It’s very important that you plan ahead when it comes to your table plan because this is a very important part of the wedding.

Some couples choose to let their guests simply sit wherever they like. However, this can cause problems for guests who don’t know anyone else at the reception; these people are often left feeling a little lost and unable to find a table that they would feel comfortable sitting at.

With a wedding table plan though, the anxiety associated with this situation is completely avoided. Everyone knows exactly where they should be and everyone has a place at the reception, where they can feel welcome.

There are many different tried and tested methods when it comes to devising the wedding table plan so it’s your choice which method you prefer to take. Some people like to mix up their guests and get people chatting while others would prefer to keep the people who know each other together.

It doesn’t matter which method you choose, the wedding table plan could really help you to get your day organised and to ensure that everyone can enjoy the day.
