Chief bridesmaid duties

Filed under: Wedding Help & Advice — Diane @ 9:00 am

When you are the chief bridesmaid, there are plenty of roles that you have to fulfil but the most important thing to remember throughout the build up to the wedding is that you are there to support the bride.

It’s important that you are there every step of the way to take the pressure and stress off the bride; helping her to make decisions and organise each aspect of her special day.

You have to ensure that the bride is happy with the organisation of the day at every step of the way. After all, it’s her special day and she should have it exactly as she wants it.

As well as helping with decisions and organisations, there are very practical things you can help with too. For example, you could help to send out the wedding invites. This task can be really time consuming and the bride might prefer to get on with other aspects of the organisation, so if you can send some of the wedding invites and the wedding evening invitations out, then you could be saving her a lot of time and effort.

Just remember throughout the process, that you’re there to make things easier for the bride and you should be prepared to do anything to make this possible.
