Wedding evening invitations if numbers are restricted

Filed under: Wedding Evening Invitations — Diane @ 9:00 am

There is a lot of pressure on you when you’re trying to arrange a wedding. And it’s not only you and your partner that you have to think about because you also have to consider the feelings of your friends and family too.

This is why it can become stressful if you realise that you’re not going to be able to fit everyone into the venue of the wedding breakfast. It’s a common problem, but one that can cause stress nevertheless.

A great way to tackle this is to split your guests into two groups. In one group, you have your close friends and family and in another, everyone else. Of course, your close friends and family will be invited to the ceremony and the wedding breakfast. But if there are other guests that you can’t fit in, then send them wedding evening invitations.

By sending wedding evening invitations, you are including everyone in your special day and allowing everyone to celebrate with you, and this will avoid anyone getting upset about not being able to share the day with you.

Thinking about the finer details of your wedding

Filed under: Wedding Help & Advice — Diane @ 9:00 am

When you are invited to a wedding, one of the things that you really look forward to is the wedding breakfast and the reception. So it’s important that you pay as much attention to these two events as you do to the ceremony and getting that all important dress just perfect.

With the wedding reception and the wedding breakfast, it’s important to think about the smaller details. You might not think that the table decorations or the wedding place cards will make much of a difference to your wedding overall, but they really do have a huge impact on the atmosphere and what people remember of your big day.

So as well as focussing on the larger decisions, make sure that you carefully consider aspects such as the wedding place cards. These are of particular importance because the wedding place cards are what a lot of guests will take home with them as a souvenir from the day. So take you time to get the wedding table decorations and finer details correct so that you and your guests can have the best time at your wedding reception and wedding breakfast.

Sending out your save the date cards

Filed under: Save The Date Cards — Dave @ 9:00 am

It’s around this time of year that men up and down the country are getting ready to pop that all important question.

For some reason, everyone gets a little romantic at Christmas time and Christmas day, boxing day and of course New Years Eve are all favourites when it comes to proposing.

If it’s your turn this year, then you will need to begin your wedding preparations as soon as possible. It’s amazing how long it can take to plan a wedding, particularly if you’re after a grand ceremony with a huge party to celebrate, so it’s never too early to start planning.

One of the first things you need to decide is where you want to get married. This alone can take a lot of time. The venue has got to be perfect for you as a couple and you need to ensure that you are completely sure about your decision before you commit to anything.

Once you have chosen the venue, you need to contact them to ask when it will be available and this then determines the date that you will get married.

As soon as you have the date, you need to send out your save the date cards. These days, people lead busy lifestyles, so you need to make sure your big day is in their diary so that you can have that perfect wedding you’ve dreamed of.
