Planning your wedding – Part three – the final stages

Filed under: Wedding Help & Advice — Jenny @ 9:00 am

It’s not long until the big day. In fact, you only have three whole months until you walk down the aisle so it’s time to really focus and ensure it’s a day to remember.

In month nine, you need to send out your wedding invites, as this will give you plenty of time to receive your RSVP cards back in the post. You also need to meet with the florist to make your final decisions.

Then, in the tenth month, it’s time to get your taste buds tingling and attend a tasting session with your chosen caterer. Then you know what to expect on your big day and you can ensure everyone is catered for.
At this point, fingers crossed, your bridesmaids and best men should be thinking about organising the hen and stag nights.

In month 11, you need to ensure that you are all booked up at the hairdressers and beauty parlour. Book your appointments for your nails, tanning treatments and anything else you might need for the week before the big day. You also need to go for a final dress fitting.

The month is finally here! So in month 12, other than confirming your honeymoon booking and posting your notice of marriage, you should do absolutely nothing. Get some rest so that you feel ready for the most important day of your life.
