Remember your wedding with the help of wedding guest books

Filed under: Wedding Guest Books — Jenny @ 11:28 am

You might think that you will remember every last detail of your wedding day, but you will soon discover that the whole event is a little bit of a blur to you. all of that emotion and excitement can leave you with a very hazy memory of the big day; particularly after a few years.

So that is why a lot of couples choose to have wedding guest books at their wedding. These are a great idea because they allow you and your guests to record your memories from the day.

The best way to choose your wedding guest books is to buy them with your wedding stationery. That way, you can ensure that the wedding guest books match the style of your wedding perfectly.

It’s not all about memories though, because the wedding guest books are a great way for your guests to write down their thoughts and the good luck messages to you. Often, you won’t find the time on your wedding day to speak to everyone, so the wedding guest books allow guests to express what they wanted to say to you.

In years to come, you will be really glad that you chose to have wedding guest books as they allow you to really look back on the fond memories of the day and share them with your loved ones.

Organising a wedding table plan

Filed under: Wedding Table Plan — Jenny @ 11:27 am

One of the things that a lot of couples dread when they are organising their wedding is the wedding table plan. This is part of the organisation that can take a huge amount of time and effort but it is not something that you should put off.

Working out the table plan is extremely time consuming and something that you and your partner should sit down with together to complete. The wedding table plan involves making lists, allocating seats and constantly double checking that you haven’t missed someone so it needs your full attention and input from both you and your partner.

Before you begin your wedding table plan, you need to ensure that you have had all of your RSVP cards back from your guests so that you know who is and who isn’t coming.

Then you can make a start on planning where everyone sits. Of course, there is no need to have assigned seating at all; you could just let people choose their own tables. But a lot of people prefer to be told where to sit because it prevents that scramble to find a seat and also means that there are no awkward moments for those people who have come alone.

Provide a wedding table plan that is clear and simple to understand so that there is no fuss on the day and you can simply get on with celebrating.

Making the smaller details count at your wedding

Filed under: Wedding Help & Advice — Diane @ 11:26 am

After your wedding is over, you will find that a lot of guests seem to remember the smaller details. Of course, they will all have an image of you walking down the aisle in that all important dress, but it’s the smaller details which can really make an impact and determine the entire tone and atmosphere of the day.

That is why it’s important to spend some time deciding the finer details such as the wedding place cards and the wedding table names.

These smaller details will often be decided by the theme of the day which can be related to a colour scheme or something more specific such as having a beach themed wedding.

All guests will remember the wedding place cards and you will find that most will even take their wedding place cards home with them as a souvenir of the day. You can choose to have wedding place cards that match the theme of your day to bring your day together. Your wedding table plan can also match the theme or colour scheme of your wedding.

It is the smaller details such as these that can make a huge difference to your wedding and can really bring the day together and create a beautiful and memorable atmosphere.
