For nine months, you have been preparing for the big day; the day that the baby is due to arrive.

You’ve got everything in its place from the cot to the baby bottle and the excitement has now become completely overwhelming.

But soon the baby will be here and all those moments that you have been dreaming of and planning in your head for the last nine months are about to become a reality.

This is a new stage in your life and one that you will really want to make the most of and remember forever. There is nothing quite like having a newborn baby to look after and it is worth thinking of ways in which you can record the special moments that you share.

Baby photo albums are a great way of recording the special moments you share together. With the help of baby photo albums, you can record that first smile, the first feeding session and the first trip outside very easily and you will be able to look back on these moments forever and remember them fondly.

Wedding rsvp cards are the key

Filed under: Wedding RSVP Cards — Jenny @ 9:00 am

A lot of decisions that you make when organising a wedding will depend upon how many guests are coming to your big day and also who these guests are.

For example, if you only have close friends and family coming, you won’t want to hire out a venue which will accommodate 1000. Similarly, if you have a lot of guests coming, you will not want to hire out the tiny village hall.

Also, if you have a lot of children coming to the wedding, you need to ensure that they are catered to and are kept entertained.

The way to obtain all of this information is by sending out wedding rsvp cards with the wedding invites. By sending out wedding rsvp cards and asking your guests to respond as soon as possible, you will quickly be able to make up a list of people attending.

When your wedding rsvp cards begin to arrive back, keep a record of each guest’s response as you go. Try not to save them up and get behind, because as you will know, the key to planning a wedding is organisation.

Once you have your list of guests, you can make the final preparations and ensure that your wedding day goes without a hitch.

Having fun with the seating arrangements

Filed under: Wedding Table Plan — Diane @ 9:00 am

A wedding is not just about the bride and groom. In fact, the guests can be really involved in your big day too. From being in the wedding photos, to taking their own pictures with the disposable cameras provided, your wedding day can be a huge amount of fun for your family and friends.

The wedding ceremony itself is meant to be romantic, symbolic and meaningful; but then the celebrations start. And so does the fun.

Most couples will choose to have a meal as part of their wedding reception. And this, of course, means that everyone needs to be seated. The wedding table plan may have taken a while to organise and it may have involved lots of swapping around but when you see your guests all seated and organised, you will be glad you did it.

And to make the proceedings a little more fun, a lot of people choose to have wedding table names. You should choose a name for each table so that you can tell your guests which table they will be on. A lot of people choose their wedding table names based on the theme of their wedding. But you could also choose a different flower name for each table or a different colour.
