Get your guest’s replies well in advance

Filed under: Wedding RSVP Cards — Diane @ 8:59 am

Many people put great focus on there wedding invitations but forget about wedding rsvp cards. Save the date cards are now becoming more common place and are the perfect way to inform guests about an impeding wedding date. The wedding invitations then invite the guests to the wedding formally but responses from these can sometimes not be so forthcoming.

Most people do send responses quickly to your wedding invitations but there are a few that for whatever reasons fail to reply. And, as the wedding approaches it can be awkward contacting these guests to see if they are coming and these contacting any reserves to see if they want to attend after you left them out of the original invitations.

One way that you can give your guests a helping hand is to send wedding rsvp cards with the invitations so all your guests have to do is send them back with their reply. This way you will know who is attending quickly and so can arrange the seating plans and tables plans well in advance.

Send a personal message with a Save the Date card

Filed under: Save The Date Cards — Dave @ 9:00 am

Save the date cards can really set the tone of your wedding and mean people will not arrange to do other things on your special day.

Wedding organisation can take many months so it is always a great idea to send out save the date cards to your guests so they have an idea of the date and venue. One other thing you can do with save the date cards is to seta pattern to the theme or colour scheme of your wedding. If you choose cards featuring subtle pink colours or even pink roses you could incorporate this into the overall theme of your wedding and choose wedding invitations and wedding evening invitations that also feature the same pink roses. And, if you want to go the whole way, why not choose to feature the same colour flowers in your bouquet or in the groom’s button hole.

Save the date cards are one of the first things you will send to let people know about your special occasion so when they are printed professionally they can look excellent. You can also choose to have a personalised insert included when you order them so they don’t only look great, the card will include a personal message to the recipient.
