It is very important when choosing your wedding stationery that you get it just right as it is the first impression that guests will have of your wedding.
At The Card Gallery we can help make your wedding stationery look that extra bit special to impress your guests. Each of our different designs come in a vast range of stationery, all co coordinating and catered exactly for you.
To start, once your design has been chosen, you may wish to send your guests a ‘save the date’ card. It’s a great idea to send guests a save the date card if your wedding celebrations are going to be at a particularly busy time of the year such as school holidays or Christmas and new year.
Other wedding stationery you may need could include Wedding Invitations, Evening Invitations, RSVP’s, Orders of Service, Place Cards and Table Names (and numbers), Wedding Table Plans and Wedding Thank You Cards.
If you’ve got a specific design in mind but can’t see it on our website, please give us a call and we will do our best to help create it for you.
Often your wedding can be one of the most memorable days of your life. However, the day can seem to fly by without regard for the fact that you want to, and need to appreciate every moment. This is of course one of the reasons why you have a wedding photographer so you can look back at the day with fond memories.
Lots of people now also place disposable wedding cameras on each table so you can get a feeling of what the day was like through the eyes of your guests. The pictures taken with these can be a great addition to your wedding photo album, as often your fondest memories are the ones that are taken without prior preparation, so give you an actual feeling of what the wedding was like.
Your guests may also have taken their own cameras so these pictures can be used as well. Often however, it can be difficult to get copies of these pictures so a good idea is to include a reminder in your wedding thank you cards asking your guests if they can forward any of these pictures onto you.
The more pictures you have of your day, the greater will be your propensity to view them, meaning the day will be remembered for years to come.
Organising the Christening for your child can take some time. Both sets of parents and grandparents may have specific ideas about what should take place and where. If both you and your partner are religious you may already have strong links to your local church and can rely on the people there to help you with some of the formalities.
You may have previously thought about your child’s godparents before the birth and may be taking a traditional approach, but before you remain steadfast to your decision it is worth remembering that your child’s godparents should be christened themselves to do the job. Finding this out without being too obvious as to the reason why can be tricky, but often the godparents will be one of the parent’s siblings or other close family member so you may know already.
A good idea is to have your Christening party close to the church so all your guests can walk to the venue. If this is not possible then detailed instructions should always be included in the Christening invitations so your guests will not get lost between both venues.
A Christening is a wonderful time for the parents of the newly born baby, so take time to organise the event but remember to enjoy yourself because it’s your day too.
