Wedding thank you cards provide a lovely final touch to your special occasion. Sending them however can often be a very time consuming job, especially to thank everyone personally.
Here at The Card Gallery we offer an option of purchasing just the card outer for you to add your own inserts, or we can add a pre-printed or personalised insert for you.
We always recommend writing some of your thank you cards, or at least the envelopes, BEFORE your wedding when you have all the names and addresses of your guests after having sent your wedding and evening invitations….it’s just a tip…but can save you lots of time.
It can be difficult to Know where to start when compiling the wording for your wedding invitations. Our wedding help and advice section provides wording ideas for your wedding, evening, beach wedding invitations and your thank you and rsvp cards.
Other information you may wish to include could be any of the following…..some information you may wish to include on your card inserts, other information you may prefer to go on a separate piece of paper to accompany your invitations.
Black tie – if it’s a black tie occasion, just add this at the bottom of your invitation in the left or right corner of your insert
RSVP date – this is a very good idea to include so as to ensure you receive all replies before you need to confirm your guest numbers to your wedding venue.
Dietary requirements – you could ask this question on your wedding invitation, your accompanying literature or as a question for your guests to complete on their rsvp cards (if you’re sending them).
Wedding gift list – often sent as an accompaniment to your invitations, rather than on the invitation itself.
Confetti – if the venue where you are to be married has strict rules regarding throwing confetti, it’s best to let your guests know before you wedding day. This could be mentioned on your invitation or again as an accompaniement.
