A proof for you to check, is part of our Christening invitation service. Following receipt of your order, we’ll email you a proof to check/amend and will only print your order when you’re 100% happy with the final version.
We check details to ensure your names, venue, time etc are all included but kindly ask you to double-check that all details are correct. Your Christening invitation is the opening scene of your special day and we want to help you to get it right.
Should you experience email problems, or simply prefer to see a hard copy of your proof, that’s not a problem at all, we can pop one in the post to you, just let us know if this is your preference.
As a general rule, we suggest sending your wedding invitations out first and your evening invitations a few weeks later.
Your day guests are more expensive for you to cater for so it’s these numbers you need replies from first. By sending your evening invitations a little later, it also gives you the chance to upgrade some of your guests from evening to day, if some of your day guests are unable to attend.
Ordering a few invitations with just ‘RSVP’ and no date means you can send some last minute invitations without your guests realising they’ve been moved from you B list to your A list!
Wedding RSVP cards are a good idea to send with your wedding invitations, especially if you need a fast response.
To keep costs down, you may want to just send RSVP cards to your day guests and not your evening guests.
RSVP cards are a good way to find out if your guests have any special dietary requirements. You may also wish to ask them other questions….for example if you’re asking your guests to suggest a song to be played at your evening reception, ask them on the reply card.
A handy hint when sending your RSVP cards is to number them on the back before you send them out against a list of your wedding guests – this way you’ll know who has replied if one of your guests forgets to add their name to their RSVP card!
