Throughout your big day, you will no doubt experience so many wonderful moments that you will want to remember forever.  By booking a reliable and experienced photographer, you will be able to look over your favourite moments time and time again, and they will be a treasure to keep forever.

Booking a photographer that comes recommended is a big help – we’ve all been to weddings where we’ve both been amazed at the professionalism and quality of a photographer’s work, and those weddings where we find ourselves stood in the cold for four hours with barely a decent piccie to show for it!  Failing a recommendation from someone you know well, make sure that you get to see a portfolio of the photographer’s work so you can get an idea of their style.  Pricing in a very important factor as it needs to fit in with the budget that you have in mind.  Yes, we’d all love professional photos which make us look flawless (and a few years younger perhaps!) but do you have the cash to pay for the privilege?

Once you’ve got the photographer sorted, checked their availability and paid a deposit to secure their services, you should turn your attention to one of the most forgotten-about wedding stationery items – wedding photos albums for your special photos.

It is these albums which will store your most precious photos.  Even photographers who provide albums with your chosen photos will often hand over a cheap and impersonal album which you will probably change at a later date.  If you order a set of wedding photo albums for your special photos than you ensure that you will have enough space for all your wedding pictures and they are not spread across albums of different designs and sizes.

You will probably be able to estimate the amount of photos your wedding photographer will provide (and these may even be spelt out in the package that you choose) but don’t forget about all of those informal photos that your guests will take on the day itself – especially if you are having disposable wedding cameras on the tables for your guests.
