A way to please all of your guests

Filed under: Wedding Evening Invitations — Diane @ 9:00 am

It’s well known that organising a wedding can be a very stressful affair. And things can be made even worse when there are awkward family situations to contend with.

For example, if you have an aunt who can’t stand to be around your brother in law, then you have to find ways of keeping them apart for the whole day. And then there is the issue of space to deal with and deciding who you have room for at your special day.

For some couples, who are restricted when it comes to space, there is that awkward moment when you have to break it to friends and family members that there is no room for them at the wedding ceremony. But one way to keep everyone happy is by sending out wedding evening invitations to those people who you don’t have room for at the ceremony.

Using wedding evening invitations, you can explain to your guests that the venue for the ceremony is very small, but that you would love to celebrate with them later on in the day.

For most people, the wedding reception is the most exciting part of the day. It’s a time to let your hair down, enjoy and have fun so for those who cannot attend the rest of the day, wedding evening invitations are the ideal answer as they allow all of your guests to be involved in your big day.

The beauty of wedding evening invitations

Although you would love to have your entire family and every single friend at your wedding, usually this is simply not possible. If your venue has a restriction on the number of people you can invite, then it’s a good idea to split your guests into two categories.

You should make a list of guests that you want to come and share the whole day with you and then you should make a list of people who you want to celebrate with.

This is pretty standard with weddings these days as it can cost too much to cater to all your guests for the entire day. But to make it clear which part of the day each guest is invited to, it’s a good idea to invest in some wedding evening invitations.

You can choose to match your wedding evening invitations to your normal invitations, or you could opt for something completely different to distinguish between the two.

There are plenty of designs to choose from. Some centre around the word ‘evening’, to make it really clear what type of invite the guest has got and others are a little more subtle.

No matter which design you choose, wedding evening invitations are a great way of enabling you to celebrate your special day with everyone.

Choosing wedding evening invitations

Filed under: Wedding Evening Invitations — Diane @ 9:00 am

Although you want to celebrate your special day with as many people as possible, sometimes that is not always possible. It may be that your chosen wedding venue can simply not hold as many people as you would wish to invite.

But don’t worry, because you can include everybody in your special day by inviting some guests just to the evening celebrations. Although most people would love to watch the ceremony, for a lot of guests, the evening celebrations are the most important part of the occasion.

It is at the evening celebrations that they will get to congratulate you and celebrate your marriage.

So when you are choosing your wedding invites, ensure that you choose wedding evening invitations too.

There are plenty of designs to choose from when you are looking for wedding evening invitations and you can often tie the design in with your chosen wedding flowers or colour scheme.

You also need to choose what type of card you would like for your wedding evening invitations. You could opt for the classic open out cards, or you could choose the more unusual postcard style which sets the right tone for a simple, modern wedding.

Whichever design you choose, you will be sure that the guests who can’t attend the ceremony will be pleased to receive an evening invitation to your wedding.
