Throwing a baby shower

Filed under: Baby Photo Albums — Jenny @ 9:00 am

It’s so exciting when you find out that your closest friend is expecting a baby; particularly if it’s her first one. And a lot of women love to hold baby showers for their friends as a way of celebrating the happy news and also preparing the mum-to-be for being a mum.

Baby showers originated in America, but they have slowly been creeping into the UK over the last few years and they are a great way to really get your friends together to celebrate the happy news.

As her closest friend, it’s up to you to organise the baby shower, so you need to start getting your ideas together. It’s best if you can avoid holding the shower at the mum-to-be’s house, because then she will be left with the cleaning to do.

You need to arrange food and drinks. You could all choose to make something for the party and of course, you should choose non-alcoholic drinks; you could even opt for non alcoholic cocktails to add a little sparkle to the event.

Then there are the presents. You may all wish to get separate presents, or you might prefer to all chip in for one big present. But whatever you choose, you should ensure that you give your friend baby photo albums so that she has somewhere to record those special moments once the baby arrives.

Recording your baby’s developments

Filed under: Baby Photo Albums — Dave @ 9:00 am

It’s amazing how quickly your children grow. One minute, they’re delicate little babies struggling to open their eyes and the next, they’re bouncy toddlers running around and causing mischief.

When you’re busy parents, it’s easy to miss these developments and before you know it, your child is all grown up and you can’t even remember where all the time went, let alone his or her first step.

A great way to ensure that you capture and remember those special times though is with the help of baby photo albums. Stock up on these when your baby is young and ensure that you update them regularly.

Because you are with your child so much, it’s difficult to notice the little developments in their personalities and their physical growth. But if you record their developments in baby photo albums, you will be able to look back on them in years to come and relive those precious moments again and again.

Time moves so quickly when you have children so you need to make the effort of recording memories and developments. That way, both you and your child can enjoy reliving these moments for the rest of your lives.

Record the early years with baby photo albums

Filed under: Baby Photo Albums — Jenny @ 9:00 am

Once you’ve had your baby, you will not even have a moment to think. Every second of the day will be taken up with feeding, changing nappies, bathing and putting them to bed.

Then three months down the line, just as you are starting to get used to the routine, you will realise that you haven’t managed to record anything from your baby’s first few weeks; you have no photos or videos to look back on.

To avoid this upset and disappointment, you should ensure that you are stocked up with baby photo albums before you have the baby. You will definitely need more than one because you will find that from the minute your baby is born, you won’t be able to stop clicking away on the camera.

Invest in a few baby photo albums so that you can record your baby’s developments every step of the way. From the first smile, the first time they roll over, the first crawl and the first steps. If you can record all of this in baby photo albums, you will have some lovely photos to look back on a few years down the line.
