The parents say that Gollum, a hideous Lord of the Rings character, had often been compared to their one year old daughter Corrie Jane Mack. The couple entered little Corrie into the competition for a laugh; and were extremely shocked, yet thrilled, when she managed to reach the finals of the national
competition.
Mother and Father admitted that some people do not see the joke and think that they are being a bit cruel, but proud Mom Jenny made it clear that she thinks that her daughter is the most adorable thing in the world, and loves her to bits. Jenny also added that she is sure they are all to have a laugh about it when Corrie is grown up.
