Naming ceremony invitations

Filed under: Baby Help & Advice — Diane @ 9:00 am

Not all parents want their children to have a christening. This can be for a number of reasons; for example, some parents prefer to leave it up to their child to decide whether they want to be accepted into a religion when they are a little older.

But there are other options if you do not want to have a christening with the most popular option being a baby naming ceremony.

So if you’ve decided against sending out those christening invitations, then don’t worry because there are plenty of naming ceremony designs to choose from too.

A lot of naming ceremony invitations will appear to be very similar to christening invitations. Some will clearly state on the front of them that they are naming ceremony invitations while others will not be as clear, so you will need to state within the naming ceremony cards that that’s what they are.

There are some designs that feature photographs of objects such as baby shoes or teddy bears and there are others featuring baby handprints or cartoon designs. No matter what sort of tone you want to set for your naming ceremony, there is the right card to suit you.

Baby birth announcement cards

Filed under: Baby Help & Advice — Dave @ 9:00 am

You can’t contain your excitement. Just 24 hours ago, your family consisted of you and your partner. But now you have a new addition; a beautiful bundle of joy.

You want to tell everyone, you want to shout it from the rooftops. And while you could do this if you want; it’s probably more acceptable that you send out baby birth announcement cards.

These are a lovely way to ensure that everyone hears your exciting news. You will probably tell close friends and family your news over the phone or in person, but for those that you do not see as often, baby birth announcement cards are a lovely idea.

You can choose a card that features your own photo of your bundle of joy or you could pick a simple design such as baby handprints with ‘It’s a boy’ or ‘It’s a girl’ written below them.

There are plenty of options and the great thing is that when it comes to choosing your christening invitations, you can choose the design to match the new arrival cards that you sent out.

It’s a great way to announce your good news to the world; and much more reliable than shouting from the rooftops.

Planning that special day

Filed under: Baby Help & Advice — Diane @ 9:00 am

Christenings used to be fairly simple affairs but that is no longer the case. Now, you can choose to make your child’s christening into a really big celebratory event and it all begins with sending the christening invitations out.

Christening invitations are designed to let your friends and family know about the special occasion that is coming up. The invitations will include the venue and times but it will also set the tone for the day.

And that is why it is so important to choose your christening invitations carefully. You need to choose a design that will reflect that special day and set the right tone.

So if you’re hoping for a formal occasion, then you should choose a design to reflect this such as an arty photograph design. If you are planning a fun day, centred around the children in attendance, then perhaps a cartoon design, or a design featuring a photograph of some soft toys would be more appropriate.

There are some finishing touches that you add to your christening invitations to make them even more special and these include baby envelope seals.

So when you are planning a christening, make the most of this special event with the help of the right invitations as well as finishing touches such as envelope seals.
