My Wedding

Dear Readers,

I’ve had a very easy couple of weeks as it was my ‘Page Boy’ mission to do next.  Considering that 1) he’s my son and I have 24hr access to him and 2) He’s too young to voice his opinion very loudly, it was a case of taking him into a changing room and trying out a few jackets and trousers on him.  I hate to sound smug but we were sorted within an hour – how different to the bridesmaids!  He is going to be wearing a light grey suit with a little pale pink waistcoat and he looks adorable (I realise I am probably bias!)

I didn’t really know what to do about getting him a gift – on the one hand I had bought the bridesmaids a gift of jewellery but to buy something for my son when he’s so little seemed a bit out of place.  In the end I opted for a trip to Toys R Us on the way home from the suit shop to reward him for being a good boy all day.  We are now the proud owners of an ‘Army Assault Playset’ which has kept him amused all afternoon and has allowed me to get on with writing my blog – bonus!

Darren and I will be shopping for rings next – I think he’s feeling a bit left out of the wedding planning which I wasn’t expecting!
