January 19th - The Dress Hunt Continues

Dear Readers,

Okay – so where do you need to go to buy a sale wedding dress???  I spent the last couple of weeks traipsing around bridal stores with my extremely patient sister (thanks sis!) but the sales seemed non-existent for brides-to-be.  There was one rail in a well-known high street boutique with a couple of damaged dresses but not much else.  It seems that if you’re getting married it’s full price all the way.  Found plenty of online wedding dress sales but I can’t imagine not trying a dress on before I buy it.  Am I missing a trick here?

Can you believe that I actually didn’t get to try a single dress on in the end as we were so busy going into stores and looking for a sale section that I just wasn’t in the mood after going from store to store!  So, the search continues for a dress – my sister has promised me another shopping date and will be getting the idea of a budget bride out of our heads, planning a shopping trip around a lovely girly lunch, and accepting all offers of champagne along the way!
