December 28th - Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

Dear Readers,

After finalising the guest list a couple of weeks ago, Darren and I had a lovely stress-free time with our little boy over Christmas.  There was nothing to plan, nothing to sort, so we could really enjoy ourselves.  We also chose to send out our Save the Date cards instead of Christmas cards, convincing ourselves that it would be a lovely surprise for those expecting to see a festive card – and not because we are just trying to save the pennies! 

Late on Christmas night I had a little moment to myself where I opened my very first bridal magazine to have a look at dresses.  Glass of wine in hand, a re-run of The Vicar of Dibley on the TV and endless gorgeous dresses to moon over…it was a perfect girl’s night in for one!  I am dedicating the beginning of January (and the January sales!) to seeking out my perfect wedding dress so stay tuned for the most exciting part of the blog to date – if you are a girl, that is!

Then there’s the tiara, shoes, jewellery……..I appear to have turned into a girlie girl after all!
